Product Description
AchilloTrain is a comfortable knitted support with an anatomically contoured visco-elastic insert alongside the Achilles tendon that produces a massage effect, thus stimulating the surrounding tissue. An integral visco-elastic heel cushion relieves the tendon. An additional heel cushion is provided for the unaffected foot. It is worn to treat Achilles tendon injuries, to reduce pain or swelling in the Achilles tendon (e.g. due to excessive strain or after operations). AchilloTrain active support helps to relieve the Achilles tendon without restricting mobility.
- Visco-elastic heel-wedge is incorporated in the support to raise the heel for pain relief of the Achilles tendon with an additional heel-wedge provided for the unaffected foot to prevent leg length discrepancies
