The wine has a fairly dense colour with a slightly orange tint and a refined, pleasant nose with notes of smoke, blackcurrant bud, cherry, tobacco, spice and a suggestion of mint, developing an attractive aromatic complexity. Firm on the palate, it achieves a fine balance between a moderately powerful body and an agreeable structure of supple, very smooth tannins, displaying an attractive range of flavors in which red fruit mingles with a touch of pepper and elegant oak.
